Find out more about the camels of Kumbhalgarh

Our happy camels are from registered herds and are kept in Rajasthan's most traditional herding systems, grazing on organic and natural vegetation and cared for by their customary guardians, the Raika, in an area of exceptional biodiversity. This allows the camels to follow a healthy and varied diet including around three dozen medicinal plants and produce milk which is high in nutrients. To find out more about the camels of Kumbhalgarh download this free publication, which includes a guide to the native plants of the Godwar region.
